He is the current group managing director and group chief executive officer of Equity Group Holdings Plc, the banking conglomerate with one of the largest customer bases on the African continent, over 14 million as of December 2019.

Joshua Nyamweya Oigara (born 1975) is a Kenyan businessman, accountant and corporate executive and the current Regional Chief Executive Officer of Stanbic Bank. He is the immediate former Group chief executive officer of the Kenya Commercial Bank Group. He served in that position from 1 January 2013. until 25 May 2022.

Paul Russo (born c. 1976) is a Kenyan human resources management professional, businessman and corporate executive, who was appointed as the Group CEO at Kenya Commercial Bank Group effective 25 May 2022. Prior to his current assignment, he was the managing director and chief executive officer at National Bank of Kenya (NBK), a subsidiary of KCB Bank Kenya, acquired in 2019.
